This 3 day Wildlife safari takes you to one of the country’s most popular National Parks. Queen Elizabeth National Park was established in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and after two years was renamed after the Queen of England to remember her visit. The park is situated in Western Uganda and covers about 1,978sq. The Park is mainly known for the tree- climbing lions found in Ishasha Sector. It also has a diverse ecosystem consisting of humid forests, swamps, lakes, savanna grasslands, forested gorges, rolling hills, rivers, over 600 bird species, and wildlife with over 95 species of mammals including the Big 4 including Leopards, Lions, Buffaloes and Elephants, also waterbucks, warthogs and chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge among others.
Wake up early, and have your morning breakfast from your hotel in Kampala, your driver guide will come and pick you up from there. He will brief you about your 3 days safari and then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park around 7:30am. Along the way, have a stop at the Equator, and have lunch in Mbarara and proceed to the Park driving through the exceptional landscapes. Upon arrival, have a short game drive as you head to your lodge of choice, have dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

Be early to rise, take a cup of coffee and by 06:45am head out with your guide for a morning game drive following different trails inside the park including the route to Kasenyi where you will see a number of animals such as Elephants, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Lions as well as different bird species. After the drive head back to the lodge for your breakfast and also later your lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects the two lakes; Edward and George. While on the cruise you will be able to see many animals along the banks such as the warthogs, Hippos, Crocodiles, Herds of Elephants and Buffaloes and birds. Later transfer back to your lodge, relax and have dinner.

After breakfast, return back to Kampala. But in case you have more time you could go for a hot air balloon safari through the park to get a breathtaking aerial view of the Park and its wildlife species. And thereafter embark on your journey back to Kampala, arriving in the Evening, where your driver can drop you off at your hotel or at the Airport.
