This 6 days safari entails trekking of gorillas, chimpanzees and wildlife viewing in some of the amazing National Parks in the Western and Southwestern parts of Uganda. They include; Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks.

Have breakfast early enough thereafter your guide will meet you at the hotel, brief you about the safari and start your journey to Kibale through Fort Portal City. Throughout the journey expect to see spectacular landscapes and amazing views, enjoy lunch on your way. On this very day hike to the breathtaking crater lakes. Later proceed to the lodge of your choice for diner and relaxation. Accommodation Options;

Enjoy breakfast, head to the Park for briefing before trekking, after that you will follow your assigned ranger guide into the forest searching for the Chimps. When you meet them it is a remarkable moment worth everything and only an hour is accorded for you to spend with them. Ensure that you utilize every moment you get with the chimpanzee following your ranger guides direction and advice. It being a forest, automatically you will see other species such as monkeys, birds, forest elephants and many more. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch, check-out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, it is a 3hour journey also with a lot to see while on the way. Arrive at the park in the evening. Have breakfast and head out with the guide for a game drive, it takes about 2-3hours. You should be early enough to be able to see most animals such as buffaloes, large herds of elephants, warthogs, antelopes, even lions and many more wildlife species and birds. After drive to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you plan for the boat cruise. In the afternoon set out for the unforgettable boat cruise on Kazinga Channel situated inside this Park. The cruise makes it possible for you to see more animals relaxing along its banks like the waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants and birds. Check out from the lodge after breakfast and head to Bwindi. This is an amazing journey since it includes travelling through Ishasha Sector hub to climbing lions; this means that you will an opportunity if seeing some of these and also viewing spectacular landscapes. Rise up early enough for this day, have an early breakfast and proceed to Bwindi with your guide and packed lunch for gorilla tracking. Arrive at the head office of the park around 7:30am for briefing about the trek. After being briefed, you shall enter the lush jungle with a skilled ranger guide in search for Gorillas. So gorilla tracking is between 2 to 8 hours basing on where you find the gorillas, but you are only permitted to spend only 1hour with them when you meet them. Ensure that you pack a hat, sunscreens, sunglasses, raincoats, enough water, and a non-flash camera. Have lunch and proceed to the Batwa community for a remarkable cultural experience, in the evening relax at the lodge and overnight. Accommodation Options;

After having breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel back to Kampala, have lunch en route and don’t forget to have a stop at the Equator for exciting memorable photos. While there you can also buy a few souvenirs of your choice. Proceed to Kampala arriving in the late evening. The guide will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala or take you to the airport in case you have a flight that very day. Safari Overview Gladly, this 6 days safari introduces you to Kibale  Forest, a hub to chimpanzees and over 12 other primate species including the baboons, monkeys and bush babies. It hosts more than 100 individuals of chimpanzees per community. Another park that you will visit is Queen Elizabeth named after the Queen of England; it is home to over 500bird species, 95mammals, and 10primate species and also the Kazinga channel on which sightseeing boat cruises take place. This park is found in Uganda’s western region approximately 376 km from Kampala. There after the other Park to visit is called Bwindi Impenetrable, it covers around 331sqkm of land and famous for Mountain Gorillas and other wildlife species such as birds, mammals, butterflies and lush vegetation types.
